UMAATC is very proud of the achievements of our students and parents. We recognize the following students for their outstanding accomplishments:

2011

Aiden Gawne received an "Amazing Child of God" certificate, and "Most Contagious Laugh" certificate.

Dayana Fernandez received a Citizenship Award, Cognitive Abilities Test Award, Honor Roll Awards, Star Student Award, and a Strong Character Award. 

Dayanna Cruz received a Track Award in 2011.

2010

Savannah Greenwood, Kindergarten at Savannah Elementary, was awarded the Top Reader Award and Excellent Behavior Award for the 2009-2010 school year.

Juan Ascencio received 1st Place in the 2010 4th Grade Rivera Elementary Adopt-A-School Essay Contest at the school level.  He also received 3rd Place in the 2010 4th Grade Rivera Elementary Adopt-A-School Essay Contest at the district level.

2009

Ashley Elliott was awarded membership in the National Society of Scholars for meritorious scholastic achievement.

Abraham Fuentes received the President's Education Awards Program award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

Mariah Fuentes received the Blue Ribbon Award in Study Island 6th Grade Reading.

A.J. Nelson, 4th grader at Savannah Elementary School obtained Perfect Attendance Award & the A/B Honor Roll.  

Myles Bourne-Nelson, K grade at Savannah Elementary School, received the Mathematics Award.

Kesavan Srivilliputhur took 1st place in the Sam Houston School DISD Campus Hawkeye Reading Contest, and now moves on to the District-Wide Hawkeye Reading Contest.

Jesse Dale, 5th Grade at Ryan Elementary, was awarded 1st Place in the 2009 Adopt-a-School Essay Contest.
